Walk Tracker is a GPS based tracking app for people who want to keep track of their walking fitness goals.

STATS AND MAPS
Walk Tracker tracks speed, distance, altitude, and time. It also gives you a map showing where you have been while you are saving a workout.

COLOR CODED
When viewing saved workouts your route shows up on the map color coded by speed. It shows where you went the fastest (red) and where you were slowest (blue).

VOICE SUMMARY
Dont want to look at the screen every few minutes? You can have the app tell you updates on your progress either every mile or every five minutes.

PAUSE AND RESUME
Pause the workout to catch your breath or chat with a friend and then resume when you get back to it.

FACEBOOK
Share your workout with your friends on Facebook with our easy to use integration.

LARGE DISPLAY
You can easily see your stats in real time with your current speed being the focal point.

VIEW TIME PERIODS
See the stats for the last workout, last week, current month, or all time with the touch of a button as well as the ability to choose a specific track.

MAP TYPES
You can switch between 3 different map types including street, hybrid, and satellite view.

UNITS
The supports both standard and metric units.

Keeps my new years resolution more accurately. Goal of 100 Kms per month. Only problem is the week total does not work.
I bought it because you can choose metric units. It works great. I can listen to music, answer the phone, take pictures etc while it continues to work. Also I was worried that it might use lots of data, but it doesnt.
Seems to track accurately and keep proper time but when it calculates the speed, it is woefully inaccurate.
I have been using this application for a few weeks and final bought it. Excellent motivational tool as well, graphs are accurate and the information is very useful. I recommend this anyone who wants to track their walking routes and times.
Great app!!! Love that it tracks your speed, distance, and even a map of where youve been. I would definitely recommend it!

Some bad moments

App doesnt work at all. Always say low GPS and never starts. Its worthless, dont pay for it.
The basic function is good and worth the price. The max speed is just silly high sometimes and Id rather the data was listed by avg speed not max. The altitude seems to lag or is just wrong, and the only way it would be useful is if the max and min were shown, or total climb. Biggest beef, we need a delete key for the data. But overall pretty cool.
How to edit individual trips and delete non events. Also would be good to be able to have separate logs for different users or for walk, ride, run scenarios.
I have used Apps for running and I rate this App as excellent for walking.
This app is awesome!!!!! I love to walk and ride my bike it allows me to track my distance as well as my progress while exercising!!!!!! Love love love it!!!!!
